Los Angeles Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel addressed the media on Thursday to discuss the team's ongoing offensive challenges. The coach took full accountability for the unit's lack of production in recent outings.
He emphasized that the responsibility for executing the game plan rests squarely on his shoulders. Players have struggled to find a consistent rhythm, leading to frustration among the coaching staff and the fanbase.
McDaniel noted that he is currently reviewing film to identify specific areas where the play-calling can be improved. The team is now focused on making necessary adjustments before their next scheduled matchup.
He remains confident that the offensive group has the talent required to perform at a higher level. Moving forward, the coaching staff aims to simplify certain schemes to help the players execute with more confidence.
