Sevilla suffered their second defeat of the season after falling 1-3 to Barcelona at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium. The team initially took the lead in a very commendable first half thanks to a goal from Youssuf Fofana.
However, the Catalan side turned the result around following another impressive hat-trick from Raphinha. Following the final whistle, Sevilla captain Gabriel Suazo spoke to the media to analyze the match and the team's overall performance.
The Chilean left-back noted that they knew they were facing a tremendous rival that currently plays some of the best football in the world. Suazo emphasized that they competed fiercely alongside their supporters who cheered them on until the final minute.
He added that in the second half, the squad lacked a little more energy to create additional scoring opportunities. Despite the loss, the players leave with their heads held high knowing they gave everything on the pitch.
