Alessandro Bastoni to remain at Inter for two more seasons

Inter centre‑back Alessandro Bastoni confirmed he will stay for two more years, expressing happiness at the club despite reported interest from Barcelona; the extension underscores Inter's commitment to the defender. Since joining Inter in 2022, Bastoni has become a cornerstone of the defence, delivering consistent performances in Serie A.

His agent Tullio Tinti emphasized that the contract extension runs for two additional seasons, underscoring the club’s long‑term commitment to the player. Barcelona had shown interest in acquiring the defender, but Inter’s firm stance means the transfer will not materialise.
