Angel Reese Leads Atlanta Dream to Victory Over Connecticut Sun

Angel Reese delivered a stellar performance, scoring 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to lead the Atlanta Dream to a 103-59 victory over the Connecticut Sun. This matchup marked the return of WNBA action following a three-week hiatus for the FIBA World Cup.

Reese, who recently returned from winning gold with the U. S.

team in Germany, achieved her league-record 30th double-double of the season. She shot an efficient 11-of-14 from the field and played 25 minutes in the dominant win.

Teammate Rhyne Howard also made history by setting a new WNBA season record with 129 three-pointers. Howard broke the previous record held by Sabrina Ionescu by hitting her 129th shot from deep in the fourth quarter.

The Dream continue to solidify their position as a top contender heading into the playoffs.
