Anton Stolyar appointed head coach of Spain's women's gymnastics team

Russian coach Anton Stolyar has been appointed head coach of Spain's women's gymnastics team, while Dutch gymnast Lieke Wevers will oversee program development. Stolyar, known for his successes in Russia and on the international stage, was hired to boost Spain's prospects ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Wevers, a Dutch gymnast renowned for her choreography and expressive routines, aims to modernize the team's floor performances. The Spanish Gymnastics Federation says the new coaching duo will focus on talent identification and raising the program's competitiveness worldwide.
