Archie Stark could have changed World Cup history
The United States reached the semi-finals of the 1930 World Cup, but they did so without arguably their greatest goalscorer, Archie Stark. Had the country's top scorer joined the team, the entire course of soccer history could have been altered.
Instead of glory on the pitch, Stark famously set up a gas station, leaving fans to wonder what could have been.
