Athletics activate Max Muncy from injured list after hand injury
The Athletics have activated infielder Max Muncy from the injured list after he missed nearly six weeks while recovering from a fracture in his left hand. To make room on the roster, Darell Hernaiz was optioned to the minor leagues.
Muncy returns to the lineup looking to provide a boost for the team. His recovery from the hand injury is now complete and he is ready to contribute.
