Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese Share High Five During Team USA

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese shared a brief moment that highlighted their changing relationship while chasing a gold medal together with Team USA. As Reese spoke with a reporter on camera, Clark accidentally walked through the interview shot.

Passing between Reese and the journalist, Clark briefly blocked the camera and immediately apologized. Reese showed no annoyance and subtly extended her hand for a quick high five.

Clark answered with a friendly response to complete the gesture. Their history began long before the sold-out WNBA arenas and national television debates.

Both players previously competed against each other on the AAU circuit, including the 2019 Nike EYBL championship game. In that matchup, Reese recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds to help Team Takeover defeat Clark and her squad.

Meanwhile, Clark finished that historic contest with 22 points and seven assists.
