Celta Vigo kicks off 2026/27 preseason with medical examinations
Celta Vigo will resume training on Friday, July 10 at 10:30 at Cidade Deportiva Afouteza after completing medical checks for 17 squad members between July 5 and 8, including Iago Aspas, Williot Swedberg and Matías Vecino. Players returning from international duty will be reintegrated gradually over the coming weeks.
New coaching staff members Javi Rodríguez and Jones El‑Abdellaoui will also join the training group as the preseason ramps up.
