Charles Leclerc Wins British GP; Antonelli and Verstappen Face Problems
Leclerc started from second on the grid and took the lead at the opening lap, holding off rivals until the finish. Antonelli briefly overtook Leclerc before the Mercedes driver Max Verstappen suffered a suspension failure and fell to tenth before retiring.
The safety car was deployed after Verstappen’s car stopped, and the podium was completed by George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Checo Perez ended the race in sixteenth place, far behind the leaders.
