Checo Perez finishes last after collision in British Grand Prix sprint

Spanish driver Checo Perez attempted an overtake on Fernando Alonso in the British Grand Prix sprint but was hit from behind in the inside corner. After the incident he entered the pits, repaired the damaged rear wing and received a ten‑second penalty, costing him a lap.

The race was won by young Italian Kimi Antonelli, while Perez crossed the line in last place after serving his penalty.
