Dani Merida Wins First Wimbledon Match After Retirement
Spanish tennis player Dani Merida claimed victory in his opening match at Wimbledon as Camilo Ugo Carabelli retired due to injury. The Argentine player was leading by two sets to one but was forced to withdraw while trailing in the fourth set.
Ranked 84th, the 23-year-old Merida will now face the winner of the match between Daniil Medvedev and Marin Cilic.
