David Cordon Davinchi Slams Transport Minister Oscar Puente

David Cordón, widely known in football circles as Davinchi, published a very harsh public message targeting Transport Minister Óscar Puente. Puente has been at the head of the ministerial portfolio since 2023 and served as the highest government authority during the tragic Adamuz railway accident.

That catastrophic incident on January 18 left forty-six people dead and more than a hundred injured. Among the victims was the father of the Getafe player, a devastating loss that deeply affected the young footballer.

The player still carries the heavy emotional burden of what happened and feels the lingering absence of accountability as the official case remains under active investigation. In his social media message, the athlete stressed that eight months have already passed since that fateful accident without proper justice for so many families.

He explicitly stated that neither money nor empty words without real consequences can ever heal their wounds. The message concluded with a forceful demand for resignation, calling on the minister to step down immediately.
