A woman trapped under the debris of a collapsed building in Venezuela gave birth to a healthy baby after emergency assistance from doctor María Fernanda Terán. Terán managed the delivery in dark and extremely difficult conditions, saving both the mother and the newborn.
The woman had previously been rescued from a destroyed building when she went into labor. Both the mother and child are reported to be in good health.
