Feliciano Lopez Academy Launches Second Season in Madrid

Former professional tennis player Feliciano Lopez has officially inaugurated the second season of his specialized sports academy in Madrid. The project, developed in partnership with the European School of Sports, aims to provide a unique environment for young athletes.

By integrating high-performance tennis training with formal academic education, the program seeks to eliminate the need for students to choose between their sport and their studies. The academy has relocated to the Tejar de Somontes facilities to better accommodate its growing student body.

Participants benefit from comprehensive services including residential housing, full board, and personalized tournament scheduling. Lopez remains deeply involved in the daily operations, frequently overseeing training sessions and engaging with families.

The initiative stands as one of the few in Europe that offers a fully accredited academic curriculum alongside professional-level athletic development.
