France May Suspend Tour de France Stages Due to Heat
The French government has ordered increased vigilance for Tour de France stages due to a forecasted heatwave. A circular from Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez states that stages may be canceled if health or operational conditions cannot guarantee safety.
The measure takes effect as the race moves into France.
