Hispania joins Copa del Rey Mapfre, aiming to follow Vesper’s legacy
The new TP52 ‘Hispania’ arrived in Palma Bay as a training vessel and secured a spot in the Copa del Rey Mapfre. It will compete in the Abanca ORC 0 class, facing some of the most competitive TP52s and large cruisers on the international circuit.
Last year, the Vesper, backed by the American David Team, dominated the class to claim the title; Hispania aims to continue that legacy. The vessel seeks to establish a strong presence in this highly contested tournament.
