Hurricanes lose top scorer Seth Jarvis for 4‑6 months after shoulder surgery
The Carolina Hurricanes announced that top scorer Seth Jarvis will undergo shoulder surgery and miss the start of the season for four to six months. Jarvis, who netted 30 goals last year, was a key component of the team’s wing attack alongside center Sebastian Aho.
The duo’s absence will leave a noticeable gap in the offense. General manager Eric Tulsky said the recovery will be closely monitored.
