Hurricanes to miss top scorer Seth Jarvis after shoulder surgery

Seth Jarvis, who tallied 30 goals last season and often paired with center Sebastian Aho, is out after shoulder surgery. General manager Eric Tulsky said the recovery will keep Jarvis off the roster for at least the first two weeks of the 2025‑26 campaign.

The Hurricanes will have to rely on depth forwards to fill the scoring void, while bolstering their defensive play. Coaches remain confident the team can stay competitive until Jarvis returns.
