Iran threatens to walk off at World Cup if protests occur
Iran's national team will leave World Cup matches if protests occur in the stadium, Sports Minister Ahmad Donyamali confirmed to FIFA. The minister stated that officials would walk off immediately upon hearing political slogans.
Iran also demanded that fans only bring the official flag, warning that the team would also exit if the old Persian flag is displayed.
