Ismael Gharbi Returns to Leganes After Tunisia Camp Cancellation

Ismael Gharbi is heading back to Leganes ahead of schedule following a significant change in the Tunisian national team's plans. The federation officially canceled the friendly match against Mali that was originally slated for this Saturday.

This development comes as welcome news for Leganes manager Ruben Albes, who can now integrate the attacker back into his squad sooner. Gharbi was initially expected to remain on international duty until October 3, which would have ruled him out of the upcoming league fixture against Cadiz.

Furthermore, the player was ineligible to feature in the Mali match due to a suspension stemming from his red card against Belgium in June. With the training camp now concluded prematurely, the path is clear for his immediate return to Spain.

He is expected to rejoin his teammates in training before the squad departs for the away trip to Cadiz.
