Ja Morant Traded to Portland Trail Blazers in Blockbuster Deal With Memphis Grizzlies

Ja Morant is headed to Portland after the Trail Blazers and Memphis Grizzlies agreed on a blockbuster trade. The two-time All-Star now has a new opportunity to revive his career while the Grizzlies begin a rebuilding phase.

Portland sent forward Jerami Grant and young asset Kris Murray to Memphis as part of the massive deal. Morant immediately adds to a crowded point guard position in Portland, where Jrue Holiday, Damian Lillard and rookie Scoot Henderson are also on the roster.

The aggressive move signals that the Trail Blazers, under new owner Tom Dundon, may not be done making bold acquisitions.
