Lewis Hamilton reveals cervical injury that plagued his Ferrari debut

Two‑time world champion Lewis Hamilton revealed that a severe cervical disc injury occurred when he collided with a wall during a Fiorano test in January 2025. The impact damaged a nerve, forcing him into a nine‑week recovery that included daily physiotherapy, chiropractic sessions and regular pain‑killer injections.

Hamilton said the pain disrupted his sleep and limited his mobility, significantly complicating his first season with Ferrari and affecting his on‑track performance.
