MADCUP Tennis Opens with Over 400 Participants and Mixed-Team Victory

MADCUP Tennis wrapped up its inaugural edition from June 25‑28, 2026 after four days of competition. More than 400 young players formed 24 mixed‑gender teams and contested 840 scheduled matches across approximately 80 courts.

Teams arrived from Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Bulgaria and Italy, while numerous Spanish regions such as Madrid, Castilla‑La Mancha and Catalonia contributed participants. Supported by the Spanish and Madrid tennis federations, the event’s equality‑focused format promoted talent development and broadened the sport’s reach.
