With Ivan Romeo absent, over 150 riders competed for the coveted red jersey in Sabiñánigo. Marcel Camprubí secured the biggest win of his career on the challenging 211km route.
Despite a late attack by Pablo Torres, the peloton caught him, allowing Camprubí to celebrate the title.
