Mark Zuckerberg Unveils Muse Charm AI Device

Mark Zuckerberg spent much of Meta Connect 2026 showing how the company’s AI assistant, Muse, could work across phones, computers and glasses. Then he pulled another way to use it from his pocket: a tiny device called the Muse Charm.

Its small, playful appearance immediately invites a Tamagotchi comparison. But the Charm is an AI assistant, not a virtual pet.

Meta says it is built for spoken conversations with Muse and fits in a pocket. Zuckerberg described it as small enough for a keychain.

In the presentation, Zuckerberg pointed to a fingerprint sensor in the corner of the device. Touch it, he said, and you can start talking to Muse without unlocking your phone or opening an app.

He pitched the Charm as an especially quick option for people who do not wear Meta’s AI glasses.
