McLaren Appeals to FIA Over Gasly's Monaco Podium Reinstatement

Following the Monaco Grand Prix, the FIA rescinded Pierre Gasly’s speeding penalty and reinstated his podium finish for Alpine. McLaren’s team issued a formal notification stating that the reversal undermines the integrity of the sport and that the penalty was applied correctly.

The British outfit has now taken the matter to the FIA International Court of Appeal, asking for a review of the decision and urging consistent enforcement of the rules throughout the season.
