Naomi Osaka pulls out of final with right foot injury before Wimbledon

Osaka entered the final of a WTA event against Karolína Muchová and fell behind 3‑0 in the opening set. At the start of the second set she felt a sharp pain in her right foot and immediately called for medical assistance.

Following the evaluation, she announced that the injury prevented her from continuing and withdrew from the match. The setback raises concerns about her preparation for Wimbledon and suggests a cautious rehabilitation will be required for the rest of the season.
