New York Giants Release Receiver Odell Beckham Jr After Three Games
The New York Giants have officially released veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. after three regular season games.
Beckham had returned to the franchise in June after signing a one year contract worth 1. 3 million dollars.
The 33 year old receiver earned a spot on the 53 man roster following a promising training camp. However his role on the field drastically diminished once the regular season action got underway.
Across three games Beckham was targeted only once and failed to record any official receptions. He logged just 20 total offensive snaps including six snaps during a 12 to 7 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
The move leaves the experienced wideout available as an unrestricted free agent in search of a new team.
