Neymar World Cup Status New Medical Tests Reveal Dark Outlook
Concerns continue to mount regarding Neymar's participation in the 2026 World Cup. The Brazilian forward, currently with the national team in New Jersey, underwent further medical tests on Monday for his Grade II right calf injury, sustained on May 17 during a Brasileirão match.
Despite the setback, coach Carlo Ancelotti included Neymar in Brazil's 26-player squad, hoping for his recovery during the tournament. Neymar has been working in the gym but has not yet rejoined group training.
