Russell takes Austrian GP pole as Perez starts 19th
The qualifying session for the Austrian Grand Prix ended in dramatic fashion with George Russell claiming pole position for Mercedes. Despite a double yellow flag caused by a crash involving Verstappen, the pole stood.
Sergio Perez showed strong pace with the Cadillac but will line up in 19th place for the race.
