Sevilla to Decide on Patrik Mercado Signing After Knee Assessment

Midfield talent Patrik Mercado from Independiente del Valle has reached a €6 million agreement with Sevilla. The Ecuadorian suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament and a medial meniscus tear in his right knee last month, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

Sevilla are monitoring his rehabilitation closely and will conduct a detailed medical examination of his knee before committing to the transfer. Once the assessment is complete, the club will decide whether to integrate Mercado into the squad.
