Steph Curry and Draymond Green Extend Golden State Warriors Stay

Stephen Curry is entering his 18th season with the Golden State Warriors as the longest serving player with a single franchise. Teammate Draymond Green follows closely behind as he prepares to begin his 15th season in the Bay Area.

Both veteran players finalized contract extensions during the offseason to secure their long term futures. Green signed a one year contract extension worth 27.

7 million dollars earlier in July. Curry subsequently agreed to a two year deal valued at 116 million dollars to extend his stay.

The star guard took less than the maximum allowable amount to give the front office financial flexibility. This move allows the team to continue building a competitive roster around its core players.
